Gail Davis
Born in Saskatchewan this artist has made Nova Scotia her home. The coastlines, hills, and valleys give her the inspiration to paint the beauty of the region.
A painter of contemporary realism, she likes plein air painting along the coast where she captures the light, and the brightness of boats on water. Her paintings of villages and houses embrace the whimsical. Gail works from the many photographs she takes when travelling around the province bird watching.
While she enjoys working on her own, Gail values the support of her community of working artists, and is also a member of The Winding River Gallery in Stewiacke. Her paintings are in private collections in Canada, the US, Australia and elsewhere. Gail is on Facebook or can be emailed here.
Gail Isenor
Gail's paintings are contemplations of the ethereal in the everyday. Her work captures objects and landscapes that suggest presence.
As an artist who first learned to paint in oils, Gail returned to her creative roots after a career in IT by stepping up to the challenge of watercolours.
Her paintings have been exhibited at Jack's Gallery in Wolfville, at the annual community art show in Acadia University's Art Gallery, and as a featured artist at The Landing Spa and Gallery in Canning, Nova Scotia. To see more of Gail's work check out her blog.

In addition to painting Gail enjoys writing, photography, and being the webmaster for EAC.

Suzanne Patry
Suzanne Patry is a self-taught watercolour artist, who put aside her passion for art to pursue two other passions, first in teaching, and then in health and wellness. She returned to art in 1981 when she received a bursary from the Ministry of Education to study in the Faculty of Art at Ottawa University.
She enjoys nature, artistic events, family, friends, and traveling. Her favourite destination is India where she has taken 5 trips for a period of three months each time to train as a wellness practitioner.
Over the years, her house has become her personal Art Gallery. For the past three years she has lived in the Valley and is now dedicating her time to watercolour painting. Her paintings capture the beauty of nature, and focus on landscapes and flowers. Suzanne is also a proud and happy mother of one daughter, and a grandmother to four grandchildren.

Hugh Simpson has resided in Wolfville with his wife Betty for thirty-five years where, together, they raised 3 children. Hugh is a former Acadia and Dalhousie alumnus.

Susan’s work is inspired by her Acadian heritage, and the landscape that embodies it.
After a varied career, culminating at Grand-Pré National Historic Site, she has devoted much of her time to learning the art of Art.

She has attended many workshops including those sponsored by the Evangeline Artists’ Cooperative. Susan has been a member since 2012.
